It’s no secret that Top Gun: Maverick was one of the biggest hits in theatres over the summer. As revealed by producer Jerry Bruckheimer, each day began with a three-hour briefing and flight schedule before the actors were given the green light to jump into their cockpits and begin filming. As a veteran pilot and stunt coordinator, Cruise explains to viewers exactly what it takes to process each move before a scene can be shot. We also hear from Cruise co-stars Glen Powell and Miles Teller, as well as Maverick director Joseph Kosinski, what it was like to shoot with the legendary actor and support his vision of how he saw the intricate scenes.
Top Gun: Maverick continues 30 years after the events of Top Gun and sees Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Cruise) wrestle with the ghosts of his past while simultaneously trying to move forward with his future.
