Job Information:

  • Surveyor – 68 positions
  • Mining Syrdar – 145 seats
  • Junior Overman – 82 seats

Age Limit: Applicant must be at least 18 years old as of 01/23/2023. The upper age limit is 30 for General (UR) and EWS candidates.

Reservations: SC/ST/OBC/EWS and other reservations will be applied according to the government. Indian rules and guidelines, periodic notices and amendments.

Selection Process: The selection methodology will include Computer Based Testing (CBT) only. There will be no personal interview.

Health/Condition: Appointments to the above positions will be provisional, provided the candidate is deemed medically fit in accordance with the standards established for the position by the Company.

Test Cities: The PTA will take place in the test cities specified in the online application. Applicants can choose three test cities from the list according to their preferences.

Entry Fees: Fees are Rs 1000 + GST 180 for General/OBC/EWS category. SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/Female Applicants/Employees of Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries are exempt from any fees payable online.

MCL Recruitment 2023: Application process begins for Mining Sirdar, Jr Overman and Surveyor positions.

The selection process will only include Computer Based Testing (CBT). There will be no face-to-face interviews for these positions.

Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has applied for the positions of Junior Overman (T&S Gr-C), Mining Sirdar (T&S Gr-C) and Surveyor (T&S Gr-B). Applicants can apply for these positions on the MCL official website at mahanadicoal.in. The form can be submitted until 11.50pm on 23 January 2023. A total of 295 vacancies are expected to be filled as part of the recruitment drive. Of the total vacancies, 82 for the young Overman, 145 for a mining sirdar and 68 for a surveyor. General category applicants will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 plus Rs 180 as Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Applicants belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/female applicants/employees of Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries do not have to pay an application fee. The eligibility criteria for each position are different and can be checked in the official announcement.

MCL Recruitment 2023 – Steps To Apply For Positions:

Step 1: After visiting the MCL official website, click on the career section, then go to the “Recruitment” section.

Step 2: Now apply according to the eligibility and eligibility criteria provided in the legal notice.

Step 3: Read the instructions carefully, then click the “I Agree” button.

Step 4: complete the registration by filling in the required data.

Step 5: Check your user ID, password, application serial number and mobile phone number.

Step 6: Now log back into your MCL account by entering the User ID and Password you received via email.

Step 7: Then click on the option to go to the application form, enter all the required details in the appropriate field and upload the required documents and signature.

Step 8: Next, review the application form and make corrections if necessary. Click the submit button.

Step 9: Complete the application by paying the required fee.

Step 10: Download the application form and make a hard copy for future reference.

Age Limit

The lower age limit is set at 18 for all locations and the upper age limit is 30 as of January 23, 2023. For reserved categories, there is a softening of the upper age limit.

Selection Process

The selection process will only include Computer Based Testing (CBT). These positions do not require a personal interview. Successful candidates will be preliminarily called to take a Computer Based Test (CBT) based on their statement of eligibility. Claimed eligibility includes age, current statutory certification, educational/technical qualifications, etc.

Exam Template

The test will be objective and there will be no negative marks on the exam. Instructions will be in English and Hindi.

Engagement: The engagement will be purely contractual and will not confer any rights/claims to settle your meeting with the Indian Mining Authority. In the event that a person leaves before the completion of six months, he will not receive any certificate of experience.

The contract will initially be for two years and may be extended for a maximum of one more year, subject to performance evaluation and as needed.
