Liger was one of the long-awaited movies of the year because of Vijay Deverakonda. It was believed that it would prove to be a blockbuster at the box office. However, this doesn’t seem to be happening. The Puri Jagannadh film, which was released in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu languages to around 2,500 screens across the country, refused to see audiences on the second day itself. Perhaps that’s why Vijay Deverakonda’s film’s box office collection is down about 47.5 percent on the second day after its release.
How Much Did “Liger” Earn?
Let us tell you that on the first day, i. H. Thursday the film by Vijay Deverakonda was released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages. At the same time, the Hindi version of Ananya Pandey’s film opened in theatres on the night of August 25th. Despite this, “Liger” earned around Rs 16 crore. However, the Telugu version of the film brought in 87.43 percent of the opening day’s box office. Trade analysts believe the popularity of Vijay Deverakonda’s earlier films, Dear Comrade and Arjun Reddy, was behind Liger’s record earnings.
This Is The State Of The Hindi Version
However, looking at the numbers for the second day, it seems like the Telugu-speaking people refused to watch their favorite star’s film. Yes, not only has there been a drop in total collections, but there has also been a drop in business with the Telugu version. On the other hand, if we talk about the Hindi version, the film’s earnings on the second day i.e. H. on August 26, increased. The film has garnered more than 34.03 percent business compared to day one.

Southern superstar Vijay Deverakonda has made a strong entrance into Bollywood. Vijay rose to national fame after the film Arjun Reddy. This time, however, Vijay Deverakonda has made his Bollywood debut with Liger with full preparation. This pan-Indian film by Vijay, directed by Puri Jagannath, also stars Ananya Panday as well as big names like Ramya Krishnan and Mike Tyson. The film was released in South India but the audience had to wait few hours to see this film in North India. So let’s take a look at the reviews of this film…
Do you know the story of the film
Balamani dreams of his son becoming a boxing champion. This dream of a mother sticks in Liger’s eyes. Liger wants him to win the MMA national championship and bring glory to both his mother and the country. He definitely stammers when he speaks, but he’s not scared of anyone. To fulfil his dream, he comes to Mumbai from Karimnagar with his mother Balamani (Ramya Krishna) to become MMA national champion. At first he also sells tea in an unknown city. During this time, however, Liger learns a lot about his father from his mother, after which his life changes completely.
Liger joins the Jeet Kune Do Institute for martial arts training. Let us tell you that the Brussels street fighting style is called Jeet Kune Do. He falls in love with Tanya (Ananya Pandey). For the next story, you have to go to the cinema hall now. Will Liger be able to fulfil his mother’s dream of becoming a champion? What will become of his and Tanya’s love story?
Acting And Directing
This movie is 100% Vijay Deverakonda movie. For the first time Vijay Deverakonda appears as a martial artist and he has completely adapted to his character. Ananya Pandey is also seen living up to her character. Ramya Krishnan’s Balamani reminds me of all those mothers who inspire their children to do something by speaking sharply. Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey, Ronit Roy, and Vishu Reddy also played their characters well. For Mike Tyson fans, there is nothing special about this film. Because these international boxers can be seen in the last half hour of the film.
As always, the impression made by director Puri Jagannath is also evident in this film. With great beauty, he once again presented Vijay as a “mass hero” in front of the audience. The first half seems a bit big, but the many interesting twists and turns in the second half won’t let you move from your chair. As always, this is a “Masi film” that audiences will love very much.
