Now suddenly last evening it has been removed from the Google Play Store and it has come to know that all this has happened on the instructions of the Government of India.
Google Told The Reason For BGMI Being Banned In India
Although BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) is banned in India, the Indian government has instructed to remove it from Google Play Store and Apple App Store. But no comment has been made by the Government of India on this yet. On the other hand, if you have already downloaded this game in your phone, then you can play it. According to reports, those who have this game on their phones are still able to play without any hindrance. But what will be the next step of the government on this, it is difficult to say at the moment.
Why Was BGMI Banned?
However, the news coming out says that this has happened on the orders of the government. But Krafton, the company that made BGMI or its developer, says, “We’re still trying to figure out how and why BGMI was removed from the Google Play Store and Apple store.”
On the other hand, Google officials have a statement that, “The company has received official orders from the Government of India, that BGMI should be removed from the Play Store. Following this process, upon receipt of the order, we have notified the developer and immediately blocked the app on Google Play Store in India.”
However, it has not come out from the Government of India, for what reason they have done this.
